Inventory Management Suite/Goods Receipt

Summary

Goods Receipt is the first module of a global application suite called Inventory Management Suite which includes the following four modules: Goods Receipt, Inter-stocks Transfer, Picking List and Goods Movements. Goods Receipt allows you to verify in the warehouse that the delivery is in compliance with the delivery list or with the original order.

Description

Goods Receipt is a complete, fully customizable solution. A delivery list contains all information about the deliveries to be checked. This list is downloadable from a host PC via cradle or Wi-Fi.

The delivery list can contain multiple delivery notes. The operator selects the desired note to start the goods receipt control process.

Three colour codes allow for a simple review of the status of work in progress:

  • Green:            Delivery note completed
  • Orange:          Delivery note partially processed
  • Blue:                Delivery note yet to be processed

These three colours can also be used as an aid in deciding the receipt of work priority.

At the end of the check, the completed received goods file is sent to the PC host with the name of the operator and associated time and date stamp.
Optional use of a barcode scanner saves time and eliminates typing errors.
