Colour coding improves inventory management
Small manufacturers, specialty retailers and other low-volume/high mix businesses can easily misplace inventory on warehouse shelves or in bins. Now with SecurColour you can produce colour-enhanced labels to mark inventory by product type or model, and sensitive goods can be colour-coded based on date received or expiration date. SecurColour also lets you print vibrant shelf talkers, shelf tags, pricing labels and small signs up to four inches wide at any time.

To enable continuous marking in ongoing production, our Markoprint NonStopPrinting printhead holds two alternately printing cartridges. Because the other ink cartridge is printing on the same position, each ink cartridge can be changed, cleaned, or serviced without pausing the machine.
An intelligent automatism prevents both cartridges from going empty at the same time. The first cartridge will always print two consecutive print jobs, taking turns with the second cartridge, which will only print one. This sophisticated automatism avoids both cartridges from running out at the same time. This will keep the ink from drying out in both cartridges. When the cartridge with the larger print volumes is empty, a warning will show, and the other cartridge will continue printing until it is replaced. The new cartridge will print the lower quantities to allow for you to replace the “older” cartridge. A sophisticated workflow that will boost your efficiency and productivity.

The X1JET XR inkjet printer is a stand-alone printing system that uses an XR Class piezo printhead. The printhead, ink system, maintenance station, and control electronics are all housed in one compact all-in-one device. Three different versions are available for different applications: in the Compact version, the printhead is mounted for horizontal marking. The Vario version printhead may be rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise for added flexibility. The printhead is connected to the ink system via a 1000mm long hose in the Top version, which provides greater flexibility.
The oil-based XR 980 ink is ideal for printing on both mildly absorbent and absorbent product surfaces. Its quick drying period makes it ideal for printing on painted folding boxes.
