Zebra’s Compact ‘Keyboard Display Units’ (KDUs)

Avoid the need for bulky host computers with Zebra’s compact keyboard display units (KDUs). When the KDU is connected to a Zebra printer, you simply retrieve stored forms, enter variable data and print labels in a stand-alone operation. Use Zebra KDUs in a variety of applications to save valuable work space.

• Four-line 40-character LCD display
• Three auxiliary ports: two serial, one PS2, for application scalability
• Operational modes: Forms (EPL™ and ZPL®), Terminal and File
• No power cord needed – power supplied from printer serial port
• Printers supported: 2824, 2844, 3842, 2746e™, 2824-Z, 2844-Z, 3844-Z, S600™*, S4M™*,Z4Mplus™*, Z6Mplus™*, 105SL™*, XiIIIPlus™ series* and PAX4™ series*

* These models may require a jumper change on the printer PCB to provide 5V power for the KDU Plus
