Hand-Held Label Applicators

Weber’s line of manual label applicators provides an easy, productive means of hand-held labelling. Available in two models and three separate sizes to address various label shapes and widths, the units can be used to apply pressure-sensitive labels from 20mm to 100mm in width.

And for pre-encoded RFID tags, the units have been specially designed to apply the tags without damaging the RFID inlays.
Towa hand-held label applicators
These handy applicators employ an exclusive label edge detector that automatically senses the leading edge of the label to ensure accurate dispensing. In addition, all three applicators can dispense any type of label or RFID tag without the use of a special liner tool, cartridge or cassette.

Unlike other manual methods of label application, our units include these unique features:

• Positive feed roller provides accurate dispensingThe APN Series of label applicators handles labels from 0.78″ to 3.93″ wide and is perfect for most pre-pre-printed roll labels.

The APF Series of label applicators supports the same sizes as the APN Series but also includes a slid able Mech-Sensor that allows the application of round and other non-rectangular labels. The Axicon 12000 conforms to all of the latest ISO, GS1 and Pharmaceutical standards – and the Axicon 12000 has pioneered the AI content checking for the different pharmaceutical requirements (CIP, Turkish Ministry of Health, etc). The Axicon 12000 is designed for all 2D barcodes where an aperture size of 3mil or more is required (up to the scan area available – see scan area details overleaf) – the user can set the aperture either directly or by specifying a required Application Standard.

X1Jet XR

The X1JET XR inkjet printer is a stand-alone printing system that uses an XR Class piezo printhead. The printhead, ink system, maintenance station, and control electronics are all housed in one compact all-in-one device. Three different versions are available for different applications: in the Compact version, the printhead is mounted for horizontal marking. The Vario version printhead may be rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise for added flexibility. The printhead is connected to the ink system via a 1000mm long hose in the Top version, which provides greater flexibility.

The oil-based XR 980 ink is ideal for printing on both mildly absorbent and absorbent product surfaces. Its quick drying period makes it ideal for printing on painted folding boxes.
