The thermal inkjet-coder "iJET” with Hewlett-Packard technology is an innovative system for marking absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces.

Special feature: For the first time and as in no other coder, the complete control technology is incorporated in the print module. The iJET hereby highlights integration and flexibility as never before.

The available device interfaces also cater for everyone:

* USB 2.0 – direct connection to certified USB mass storage
* LAN network – TCP/IP - EtherIP
* Bluetooth interface

* RS232
* WLAN
* Profinet-interfaces

Another innovation: system control through "iLOGIK”. This provides a very easy-to-use man / machine interface. This offers intuitive input via a combination of high-resolution display and iLOGIK operator guidance. The selection of printable text and the set-up of system parameters is thus very simple – setting new standards.

With the goal of optimal operator guidance, simplicity & clarity were identified as the primary requirements and implemented.

Depending on the labelling requirements, a choice of various system versions with different functionalities is offered:

* text
* logos
* variable data
* barcodes e.g. EAN 128
* Datamatrix codes – e.g. GS1 Datamatrix

At up to 600 dpi, the print resolution remains brilliant. Printing speeds of up to 90 m/min at 300 dpi are possible, depending on application. Products can be flexibly labelled from all sides, except from the bottom. The print head has a built-in photocell for product recognition.

Particularly user-friendly: The empty cartridge can be extracted upwards and a new one inserted with a click, all with a single hand movement.
